Description
Fat-Tailed Dunnart’s are small, carnivorous Australian marsupials. They emerge from their nests at night to hunt down prey. Excess consumed energy is stored as fat in their tails and not on their waistlines! On warm desert days, dunnarts must seek shade; the umbrella of a Sturt Desert Pea bloom is therefore, both practical and beautiful.
The Dunnnart’s tummy is vanilla in colour, whilst his fur is made from a brownish-grey acrylic. His feet, hands and inner ears are light pink. The Sturt Desert Pea is made from red mirror acrylic, with dark burgundy centres. The stem is a mid-green. All fine details have been etched with some hand-painting.
