Description

Quetzy grew up eating Queensland Blue pumpkins, as they were the only variety available in the local shops.   It was natural that a blue pumpkin was our first colour preference for ‘Quoll Hollow’.

Eastern Quolls also come in different colours and our little ones are the darker furred variant.   These cute carnivorous marsupials were once widespread but sadly now are endangered.

Mothers carry their young in a pouch and then pop them into a hollowed out den when they grow too large.   When the youngsters first venture outside they ride along on their Mother’s back…how adorable!

The pumpkin skin is a soft light blue colour, while inside is more an apricot tone.   The leaf and stem are swirly green. The Eastern Quolls have fur of slate grey with hand painted fine details.
