Description
Mountain Pygmy Possums celebrate the migration of Bogong Moths with dancing and joyful festivities. In the aftermath, the fluttery wings are collected and secured to twigs to become glorious parasols.
Mountain Pygmy Possums are critically endangered and their food source, the Bogong Moth was sadly added to the endangered list this year.
Our sweet Mountain Pygmy Possum is made from laser cut acrylic in two tones of grey. His tummy is a ripple ivory and his inset ear is a glittery, ripple pink. The Bogong Moth wings will be unique to your brooch. They are made from hazel swirl with hints of glitter. The distinctive and identifying markings are made from cream. His twig is made from rusty brown. All fine details have been hand painted with love.
